- Our Sr Pro Ladies Division is a 50+ League with Teams from Austin, Hill Country, San Antonio, & Houston. The DFW area will not have a team this opening Fall Season but will have players representing other teams in the league.
- Our Sr Pro Men's Division is a 50+ League with Teams from Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas-Ft Worth.
The Texas Sr Pro League is league founded by Craig Bobo, Lew Lewis, Al Arco, David Marrero, Chip Morgan, Mark Scholes and a few others who joined the leadership as captains for their markets.
It is a league that has 2 Seasons per year. Spring Season: January - May, Fall Season August-December.
The teams meet for team battles one day a month, not to conflict with NPL Dates, and with a Season Ending Championship.
- Format of Play:
- 3 Lines of Play unless otherwise noted for a specific date.
- 2 Rounds of 2 Games to 11, regular scoring with sudden death win on serve at 11-11.
- Each team gets 1 point for each game to 11 won. (*Note: After Round 1 in each team battle, teams must switch 1 player similar in rating for each line to provide different match-ups)*
- If there's a 6-6 tie after regulation, then if time allows a Team Breaker to 11 is played, sudden death at 10-10 win on serve only. If time is up, then the match is decided by point differential.
- A blind line-up is exchanged by the Captain(s) or acting captain prior to each round.
- Line 1 Players Combined DUPR must exceed Line 2 & 3 Combined DUPR. Line 2 combined DUPR's must exceed Line 3. (We are using this as a guideline for line-ups to have better match-ups for the players and fans, but haven't finalized whether we will enter the scores in DUPR, or just use as noted above for line-ups).
- Rosters:
- Can be a Maximum of 16 with as many as 8 designated for an event date.
- The minimum DUPR is: (4.1 for Ladies Sr Pro) (4.3 for Men's Sr. Pro) with a team having 1 player rating exception to allow for new talent who may not have a rating yet.
- Teams may also have 1 player between the age 45-50 to allow for future growth of the team/market/league.
- League subs will be provided from a sub list and/or from other teams except when playing that particular team. Subs will only be provided when a team is short of rostered players for an event, or a player(s) go down due to injury.
- The Season Ending Championship Roster must be rostered players who have also played in 2 regular season events to qualify for the Championships.
- Teams may have 2 rostered players who live outside of Texas.
- Additional Competition Information:
- Each Team battle weekend starting in September there will be a traveling trophy, plus a Season Ending Trophy.
- Standings will be updated and matches in accordance with the rules will be uploaded into DUPR.
- Events may include a prize money pot for the winning team (Gold Winner) if all teams agree.
- Indoor Court Fees are set to $250 per team, and will be divided by the players for each team participating and paid upon entry by the Captain or acting Captain for the day.
- At least 1 event date each season may have a moneyball event on Friday night for any of the players to enter with a set partner.
- Each rostered player or league sub will pay a Season Fee of $50 which will go to the league for trophies and other league costs.

- All players must Download the Pickleball Kingdom App, set up their Free User Account and sign the liability waiver and all players must also set up their FREE VAIR Account as we are now uploading matches into VAIR.
